Designing Your product starts with an idea. This idea becomes a sketch and a design from there on. The team at FabFac has extensive design experience and can help you develop your idea right through to production in our Consumer package. |

Digitizing The next thing to do is to visualize the design in 3d-space using computer software and making it into cutable parts. The Fabfac mill can handle very large boards at once: 3120mm x 1200mm x 300mm. With our Designer package we help you digitalize your design and onward. |

Engineering Now it gets technical. The machine needs to know how to cut the shapes we’ve developed in the computer. So what parts of the material need to be removed and in what order? We call this the toolpath. Luckily there is software for that. But we need to make sure it does the right things. If you already have a 3d-design you will only need us for this part. We call it the Engineer package. |

Machining Finally the toolpath is converted to a long list of orders and coordinates for the machine. This is usually done by the same software that creates the toolpaths. We’ll be writing manuals on how to create toolpaths so that all we need to do is check. If you have the time but not the budget the Machinist package is for you. |
